Tobias Boos is a researcher in social and cultural geography at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

He has conducted fieldwork in Lebanon, Ecuador, Argentina, and Italy. His current research interests include critical cartography and its applications, studies of festive culture, studies of diaspora and migration, and the regional geographies of the Alps.
